I'm Steve Lunjevich, a highly skilled and experienced painter and decorator born and raised in New Zealand. With over two decades of expertise and a national certificate in painting and decorating — a qualification held by fewer than 20% of painters in New Zealand — I bring an unmatched level of professionalism and craftsmanship to every project.

My journey began at age 17 on a beef farm in Kaitaia, and has since taken me across New Zealand — from foreman roles contributing to Christchurch's post-earthquake rebuild, to working with reputable companies such as Wayne Bowden Painters and Programmed Property Services, where I deepened my knowledge of modern health and safety regulations.

Today, as the owner-operator of Lunjevich Decorators Limited, I've worked on an extraordinary range of projects: state homes, new builds, beach houses, historic and modern mansions, and various commercial and industrial applications. I've also mastered bespoke specialty finishes including antiquing, metallic finishes, crackle effect, whitewash, rust effect, and various French-style techniques.

Beyond painting, I also run HMS Developments NZ — my app development venture where I build practical, user-focused applications. Current projects include BullionTally (a precious metals portfolio tracker), HMS Winner Management System (a forex and stock trading management system designed to maximise profits), and Site Pilot (a construction industry operations management app that uses AI agents and voice to streamline projects and work sites).
